Super thick, creamy, sweet with a tad of tart tang. The Cranberry shines through on your palate. This would be lovely on a hot griddle cake or toast. I plan to just eat mine by the spoonfuls.

This might be the best whipped honey yet. It's a tough competition against the vanilla whipped honey though. The cranberry flavor is very forward, and it's perfectly sweet with just the right amount of tartness to it. I might even like it better than my home-made cranberry sauce! The only downside is that I couldn't get a larger jar of it.

Wow the smell of this cranberry honey is fruity and sweet. It arrived solid as it's very cold. I scraped some out with a butter knife to taste and it's definitely cranberry flavored honey. I could eat it straight out of the jar. I imagine it will be delicious to add to oatmeal and tea.

The flavor was good, sweet with a little tang. This honey was thicker than other whipped honeys I have tried through Adagio.

I put this in my Irish Breakfast tea and it opened up a whole new taste sensation! I didn't need much to sweeten my tea.and it didn't have an overbearing taste.

If I didn't need to careful with my sugar intake, I would eat this entire little jar with a spoon. It's like the matcha-infused honey so it's more like a honey paste, but that's fine. It'll make it great for spreading it on things. Right now I'm having as the sweetener to my Blackberry Sage Oolong tea, which was the best decision.

Meet our beekeeper, Chris Maxwell

beekeeper
How long have you been keeping bees and what got you started?
I have been interested in bees since I'm 5 years old. As a child I used to catch them in a mason jar and release them. I was fascinated.
Can you describe a typical day out in the apiary?
A typical day consists of having the bees always as a first priority over honey production. Unhealthy bees equals no honey crops.
What is your favorite part of keeping bees?
My favorite part is knowing that I'm out there with the bees and myself. Helping them with what they need to make a nice honey crop. I take good care of them they take good care of me with a quality surplus of honey.
Conversely, what is the hardest part of your job?
The hardest part of the job is controlling reproduction swarms in spring. Mid summer is controlling pests that collapse the colonies such as mites.
What are some non-obvious ways to enjoy honey?
We love honey on ice cream. Our honey is great right out of the jar. Raw Honey is used for medicinal purposes. It removes infection from cure and scraps. Of course. Though tea and honey are a match made in heaven.
